Research one of the following individuals from your study of Global History & Geography: Toussaint L’ Overture, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Boris Yeltsin, Deng Xiaoping, or Yasir Arafat.
Write a short essay answering the following questions about the particular world leader:
- Discuss a change made by the individual in a particular nation or region
- Evaluate whether this change has had a positive or negative effect
